Financial Watch operates out of the Washington DC and Atlanta metropolitan areas to provide investors with a stronger understanding of the macroeconomic forces confronting the United States economy. The website was started in April of 2005 to provide individual investors and institutional managers with information that goes beyond reporting news. Financial Watch is capable of using its expertise of the domestic and global economy to provide our audience an in depth understanding of the impact economic reports and events are having on the U.S. economy and its financial markets.
Michael Fitzpatrick serves as Chief Strategist for Financial Watch. Mike has three years of experience in the financial services industry. Michael Fitzpatrick presently works in the accounting department for a major investment firm where his responsibilities include monitoring the firm’s derivative portfolio and evaluating billion dollar deals his firm enters into with global investment banks. He is a graduate of the University of Georgia’s Terry College of Business MBA program and previously worked for a large pension plan provider based out of McLean, Virginia. Michael Fitzpatrick’s previous work experience also includes working for a Fortune 1000 financial services firm where he developed investment reports for Financial Advisors. His diverse academic and work experiences are invaluable in helping Financial Watch develop economic forecasts that often prove to be more accurate than those generated by experienced mutual fund managers and leading Wall Street firms.
